Zhiwu Li was born in 1962 in Yan’an, a small town in northern China. Influenced by the rurality, landscapes and history of his native region, he is today one of the great figures of lianhuanhua, literally “chained images”, traditional Chinese comics.
He published with Patayo Editions and for the first time the book Qin Opéra, a 20 meter long leporello
